At the start of every month we look at the best work from the last. This month we, and the client, were exceptionally happy with how this beautiful sword stand turn out. Usually we would try to keep the mount as discreet as possible, however as this was for a private collection, the client wanted something that gave the object even more grandeur. Influenced by the design of Japanese Tachi stands, this was the result that followed. 

Note the acrylic grip below the sword hilt was designed to match the shape of the octagonal handle of the medieval sword.
