We recently had the pleasure of a weeks work in Romania, fitting our wall plate hangers on to a collection of ceramics for The National Museum of Art of Romania.

With our hot air gun packed and the Cerberus heat wave peaking, it made for some sweaty work. Heating and forming our perspex around the exact shape and contours of each plate meant the collection was fully supported in bespoke plate hangers.

The hangers we used were all from our stock range here. Once cut these were easy to flat pack for the trip across Europe to Romania. Once there we could then use simple tools to set up a pop up mount making workshop to taylor each stand to the specific conservation needs of each plate. The collection was mainly made up of some expectional Lusterware pieces. 

We were also able to show and teach the museum staff how to fit these plate stands meaning if further mounts were needed they could be shipped and fitted by themselves. 

Whether you have a pottery collection, one off platter or even a tile. Displaying this on the wall can be a great way to show off a peice, Dauphin work regularly with plates at our workshop as well as traveling to site to work directly fitting and hanging collections.
